Lou Bosco Death Notice

As I was researching the microfilm last weekend for Christmas and New Year’s Eve advertisements and greetings that appeared in the Ocean County Review in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, I came across this death notice for Lou Bosco. It appeared in the Review on December 11, 1958.

Lou Bosco’s Bamboo Bar

This postcard, mailed from Seaside Heights on July 14, 1948, highlights the interior of Lou Bosco’s World Famous Bamboo Bar when it was originally located on the boardwalk east of the Casino building. The establishment later moved to Lincoln Avenue and the Boulevard where it thrives to this day under the ownership and vision of John Saddy. More photos are included on page 76 of the book.
