Union Church Views

The first postcard shows a view of the Union Church before it was destroyed in a storm in June 1920. The church was located on the south side of Franklin Avenue near the Boulevard. The postcard was mailed out of the Seaside Heights post office on August 10, 1915, by Ethel to Miss Mattie Rodney in Florence, NJ. Said Ethel – “This is the church at Sea Side Heights where I attended church and Sunday School yesterday.”

The second postcard shows an east facing view of the Union Church after it was rebuilt. This postcard was mailed on August 9, 1932.
