Grace Cole @ 222 Lincoln Ave.

This is not a typical Seaside Heights postcard, but it is a collectible nevertheless. Many of you who lived in Seaside Heights in the late 1960s through the 1970s would know Rich Cole (he’s also one of my Facebook friends) or his father, Bill, who worked for the town for many years before he passed away. Rich confirmed a couple weeks ago for me that the Grace Cole mentioned in the postcard is his aunt. I’m thinking that Grace was probably a ham radio operator (or she used a similar kind of radio equipment). This type of postcard was sent to people all over the world after one radio operator made contact with another radio operator.
